This style is also called the Zardozi style of embroidery work. The tools used by the artisans include wooden framework or Adda, needles, gold wires, sequins, glass beads, pearls and gemstones. These embroidery paintings are created on fabric like silk, satin or velvet. This style was originally used to embellish the attires of Kings and the Royals in India.
